Full galleryQuestions we get asked.
What is engineered wood?
A real hardwood top layer bonded to a stable plywood core. It looks like solid wood and moves far less with heat and humidity.
Does it work with underfloor heating?
Yes, most engineered boards are suitable. We check the product and the heating system first.
Can it be sanded?
Yes, usually once or twice over its life depending on the thickness of the top layer.
Does the subfloor need preparation?
It must be sound, dry and flat for the chosen fitting method. We check on the survey and quote for any work needed.
