How we do it.
- Who you deal with
- A family-run company with over 30 years on the tools. The person who quotes is the person who fits.
- Uplift and disposal
- We can take out and dispose of the old floor. Discussed on the survey, included on the quote if you want it.
- What is on the quote
- Every job is looked at individually. After the survey we explain any prep needed and show it as a line on the quote. No surprises.
- Free home survey
- We check the subfloor, moisture and levels, and tell you plainly what it needs.

Questions we get asked.
Why does floor preparation matter?
Every new floor copies the surface under it. Bumps, dips and damp show through and shorten its life.
What is latex screeding?
A self-levelling compound poured over the subfloor to leave a flat, smooth surface for the new floor.
When is plyboarding needed?
Over old timber floorboards, to stop movement and give a flat base for LVT, vinyl or carpet.
Is preparation included in the quote?
Yes. Any prep is assessed, discussed with you and written clearly into the quotation.
